I made it again in a 9x13 pan and skipped the lattice work and just put a sheet of puff pastry on top. I also used a whole chicken and roasted it and then removed the skin and cut it up.

Did you put in a bottom layer of pastry first? I like them surrounded by crust......LOLI guess I would bake them first ....then add the ingredients and the top crust and then bake that.

I did on one....I used a pie crust. It didn't add anything. I pre-baked the puff pastry and that was plenty.
